Sweet Home, Wonogiri

I didn't know how happy I was, when I wrote this posting. Today was the day I got home from Watuireng Village, Giriwoyo, Wonogiri, Central Java. It was a wonderful experience living there and I would never regretted choosing live in "desa" for my social week.

On Sunday, November 9th 2008, I departed to Danan, Wonogiri. At that time, I thought that it would be very boring as I ever had joined this program 3 years ago. With lack of "spirit", I joined this program in order to fulfill my duty as a student. However it was going to change when I got there.

We went there by bus called "Tunggal Dara Putera". It looked as if it had run into something. The front mirror was broken. But it wasn't the worst thing. The worst thing was the AC and the DVD player were out of order. Arrrrggggghhhhh.....

The next day, I reached Danan, Wonogiri. There was a beautiful small church called "St. Ignatius". There, we had our breakfast which was "pecel" and I loved it. After having our breakfast, we were seperated to each village.

My village was "Watuireng" which meant "Batu Hitam". The youth there called it as "Black Stone". Hahahaahha..... . There was the place, I could transform part of my bad attitude. And also I made new special friends there, especially "the youth Watuireng catholic group" who was very kind to me.

I spent my time there by going to traditional market, buying new negative films, having reflection, surveying and playing at Panghudi Luhur High School, playing internet, meeting "Mudika Watuireng", jogging together, creating jokes, playing cards, etc. Those activities change me into new person now. The main reason was their simplicity and their happiness even in bad and good condition. Their love to us also made me not to be arrogant and their strong believeness to God that made me become a new person.

I didn't know how to thank people there. Dini, Pudji, Cicil, Dwi, Ario, Mr.Sutino, Mrs. Sony , and many names that I could't write on this posting. Thank's to you all! Looking forward to seeing you again next time!

My arrival to Jakarta was supported by very good bus. It was the same bus but all facilities were working properly that created my "heart school or sekolah hati" become "very perfect".
